Hope to schedule a home visit soon!

We got an e-mail today that said we'll probably get a call next week to set up the first home visit of our homestudy. I'd better do some cleaning! :)

It was great to get that news on this anniversary! I love being able to make progress toward the future!

God is good - all the time!!

Our Adoption Timeline

03/04/11 We told Graceful Adoptions that we are ready to be matched.
12/01/10 Found out we will qualify for the adoption tax refund if we adopt in 2010 or 2011. It's been changed to a refund instead of a tax credit.
11/22/10 Found out we will not qualify for the adoption tax credit.
11/06/10 Both Hands Project at Odessa's home! Pipes burst the night before. God's timing is perfect!
09/03/10 Notified by ABBA Fund that we were not approved for the no-interest loan
08/31/10 Contacted by Katelyn's Fund and told we've been given a $3000 grant
08/23/10 Interview with Katelyn's Fund about possible grant; the board members prayed for us at the end of the interview. Even if we don't receive the grant, the prayers are worth the paperwork to apply.
08/05/10 FBI Fingerprinting again - they must be within 12 months of placement
08/04/10 Notified that we are approved for Both Hands fundraiser with Lifesong for Orphans
06/17/10 Total of our matching grant from GGAM is $3259.70
